Headed north to The County for a winter weekend of shows

The town of Stockholm, Maine, like nearby New Sweden, was founded in the 19th century by folks from Scandinavia.¬†Eureka Hall was built in the 1920s by the Oddfellows. Later, it was a movie theatre, general store and bowling alley. Now it’s the area’s best restaurant and bar. Stockholm may only have a population of about 250 souls but people come from miles around to eat, drink and be merry at Eureka Hall Restaurant.

The Half Moon Jug Band is pleased as punch to be playing the unique and historic venue. Also, the band can’t wait to wrap their taste buds around the vittles offered there.
