Fair time
Well, the fair gigs are over and we just want to say we had a wicked decent time at Maine’s Blue Ribbon Classic, the Fryeburg Fair, and the 134th Deerfield Fair in lovely New Hampshire. The audiences were fantastic, as usual, and the food was to die for. Big thanks go out to Fanny’s doughnuts and coffee palace at Fryeburg and Dudley’s Fried Dough at Deerfield. Both booths brimmed with tasty num-nums and were staffed by wonderful folks. We also want to thank Darlene in Deerfield and Jon and Tony at Fryeburg for having us back and putting us in touch with the audiences we truly love to play for. Enjoy some pictures.
- TROY.
- Carter explains the National (aka hubcap guitar) to an impressionable youth.
- Mike packs up after the show while Carter practices looking mean.
- Troy tries the deep fried Twinkies. Yes, they’re disgusting — disgustingly good, that is!
- Steve keeps swinging his hammer.
- Suzanne is all smiles and steak tips.
- The hay is always tastier in some other goat’s pen.
- The Old Specked Hen was at the Fryeburg Fair.
